video of a Vintage 16mm Film - the spotlight review Movie
Many thanks to Rob Drury & John Herr for sharing the movie with all of us. It looks like it was a lot of fun to have made. It was projected in the WHS auditorium as a prelude to the annual Spotlight Review stage show. The second half of the film includes a tribute to the faculty advisor, John DeNoon, who clearly made a very positive difference in the lives of many WHS students.
Thank you, Mr. DeNoon!
A Technical Note: The video is 11 minutes long. It does take quite a while to load, so have patience. As long as it is loading you will see the moving circle in the center of the screen. One way to avoid the constant stopping and starting while the movie loads is to a.) mute the film, b.) "shrink" your Safari or Internet Explorer screen until the movie totally loads. That may take 5 to 7 minutes. Then c.) bring the Window or Safari screen back to "regular" size, turn up the sound, choose "Play" and enjoy the whole movie without the annoying pauses to load. We're trying to fix this, but until we do, it's one way to enjoy the movie.
